I generally don’t let people get close enough to step on my toes. It’s more for the combination of spilled drinks, saliva, urine, and vomit they get exposed to.

I try to not get people getting too close to me but in a crowded club it’s kind of unavoidable. I learned my lesson though.

I suppose it helps that I’m 6'2/220lbs. But my forearms do get a decent workout sometimes. No shame in defending your space.
